I'm Brian, one of the co-founders of Gather.

In my past life I designed software for some of the biggest brands in the world.

These days, I obsess over the user experience here at Gather.

My co-founder, Scottie, obsesses over making sure our customers problems are solved and they are treated with respect.

Gather exists because she was annoyed with the tools she was using in her design career and found them hard to use, ugly, and slow.

Together, we felt the industry deserved specification software that's both powerful AND thoughtfully designed.

Bringing that vision to life wasn't easy. It took a lot of iteration (10 years, in fact) and hundreds of conversations with our customers to get it right.
